Vesting Hotel Naarden

Boutique hotel with smart room technology and gourmet dining in Naarden's historic fortified town

Rooms & In-Room Technology

Vesting Hotel Naarden offers guest rooms with unique designs, such as the Bedstead Room featuring a loft with a beautiful bathtub and high ceilings. Each room includes a double-head shower with rain showerheads, underfloor heating in the bathroom, and Aesop toiletries. The hotel uses a smartphone digital key system for room entry, eliminating the need for physical key cards.

Dining

The on-site gourmet restaurant serves dinner with a curated wine selection and dishes like sea bass. Breakfast is served at the table rather than a buffet, with options including fresh bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, and boiled eggs. The restaurant also offers a kids' menu and special diet menus upon request.

Location & Activities

Vesting Hotel Naarden sits inside the historic fortified town of Naarden, steps from the Grote Kerk and cultural sites. Guests can rent bicycles to explore nearby natural parks like Bussumerheide and Almeerderstrand. The hotel organizes walking tours of the fortifications and classes on local culture.

The hotel provides an indoor play area, board games, and puzzles for children, along with kid-friendly buffet options at breakfast. Families can request cots or extra beds, and the hotel offers family rooms that accommodate up to four guests. Pets are welcome with pet bowls and designated outdoor spaces for exercise.
